Enable Essbase Studio 11.1.2.3.500 Query Logging

To enable query logging on Essbase Studio 11.1.2.3.500 you need to alter the logging.xml configuration file.

Open the logging.xml file in your text editor of choice.

/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/BPMS/bin/logging.xml

The default logging level is set to INFO:

<logger name="" level="INFO" useParentHandlers="false">

To enable query logging change to FINEST:

<logger name="" level="FINEST" useParentHandlers="false">

Save the changes and restart Essbase Studio. The queries used during drill-through will now be logged in the server.log file.

/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/diagnostics/logs/EssbaseStudio/server.log
